Graves with a nice post move! But even so, she made a mistake that shows why she struggles to score. She catches a great pass from Burdick, two feet in front of the basket. Instead of just going straight up and shooting the ball, she takes a dribble before shooting! Why???? You are in the paint--don't give defenders time to collapse on you by wasting seconds taking a dribble.

Carter and Reynolds with great second half performances. Burdick played better. Great defense as well--dominated florida. We went nearly 6 minutes without scoring to start the second half--and yet florida was committing a lot of TOs and we went on to take control.

At least Holly had the presence of mind to sit Mass the last ten minutes. Got to give her credit for that.

Reynolds is an excellent athlete, with size, and has really become a huge cog in the Vol wheel. She's got some more upside too. Nared with 10--another good athlete.

I was the one who called that about Reynolds last year when everyone was saying Mass would be the point this year. Just had to toot my own horn a little. And, you're right she has a bunch more upside and so does Nared. Middleton's game has gone into a funk lately. Not sure what is going on there.

A lot of credit to Carter for getting this team going. She made several plays for us when we were five down to get us up a few points. Then Reynolds made a couple excellent plays. Glad to win Florida is a bad team.
