Yep! I am a big DD fan and she pisses me off sometimes trying to throw it to the post and MD cant catch it or someone gets a hand on it. I myself want her to have the ball and take the shot anytime she feels like she can score. It is not anyone who has the athletism she has from top to bottom in WBB!!:boobies:

Yes but every body else on the team trys to ease it in and it is slapped 3 times before it gets inside. By now they should be able to catch the ball or are not going to do much inside.

Midway thru the 1st quarter,I said to myself .....self .....it will be a miracle if the LV's win this game.Why ? Georgia's coach had the offense perfectly scouted ,they were controlling the tempo,LV's pick and roll offense was not working ,the LV's reverted to staring into post and passing in there and turning the ball over,the only player playing with any passion was Diamond Deshields,the team was being outhustled for rebounds and 50/50 balls.Nothing changed thru the game ....kept running the same offense ,guards stood outside the 3 point line patting the ball trying to run pick and roll which turned into 23 turnovers, Mercedes had hands of stone today and fumbled I do not know how many balls away and played matador defense.

This was a replica of the previous 5 losses on the road and 7 losses last year....they are simply a horrible road team....they got lucky against South Carolina because SC two bigs spent a big chunk of time on the bench.Sad omen for being on the road for the 1st NCAA Tourney game or any thereafter if they win the 1st game.

Arm chair did you watch the game ? Diamond was the only one who was a scoring threat .They went to her in desperation at the last moment in shot clock a lot which puts immense pressure on her after the guards standing and patting the ball outside 3 point line trying to make the pick and roll work ......in short Diamond was the only player that played with fervor today and without her this team would have lost by 30+ points.I have sat by all this season with your ranting about Diamond and it is all bull shi*.Carryon.

Maybe if she had a point guard that could create shots for others she wouldn't have so many turnovers, Reynolds and the rest of the guards are terrrible. Meme is draya carter 2.0 all she does is play average defense and no threat on offense.

I follow all the LV teams and I enjoy most of your post on the Soccer forum. You seem to know more than most about soccer but your knowledge of BB, or your bias against it leaves a lot to be desired. JMHO:mf_surrender::boobies:

She isn't the leading scoring & the diamond and Russell have played the same amount of minutes, she has to suck it up & give her all every game.

I don't think there is any way MR is drafted. She would be a terrible liability in her present shape for any NBA team. I'm not sure another year will help,unless she gets training specific to her problems,but she could have time to work on her game and improve.

The game tonight was pretty awful. Very disappointing. Poor pretty much all around--and on national TV!

Do teams HAVE to play 3 games in a week? It does not seem to be good for the players at all. Do other groups besides the SEC require this?

See you're already setting it up for the excuses where other coaches would love to have the #1 recruiting class coming in with Te'a Cooper returning and one of the top JUCO Post who sat out a season. Holly gets top Talent because of what Pat has built (not saying some of the girls don't want to play for her) other coaches would love that same luxury.

I'm not setting up any excuses at all. The ceiling will be higher next year because the LVs will have more talent. I didn't comment on coaching, which by all indications, will be more of the same. Talent needs coaching; without solid coaching, potential won't be reached and expectations won't be met.

To my knowledge EVERY TEAM plays 3 games in 7 days.... do not know why everyone is reaching for this as an excuse.... you play on the weekend you play midweek and then you play on the weekend again..... Every team does it. But we are only ones to look for it to be an excuse...

Gee, I used to coach basketball and I taught my players that the more you get everyone involved, the better chance we have to win.... Diamond's 34 points is being heralded by everyone, but she had 3 assists in 50 minutes.... and 10 turnovers.... TEN!!! how many points is that going the other way? In the ND win and the SC win, she had many more assists than turnovers....

I do not understand peeps knocking others here for criticizing this performance.... Yes 34 is great... was it overall spectacular performance, NO... at least imho.

Half her TOs would have been assists if the skillet hands had caught the ball. She carried the team while the others were dribbling and watching and kicking and falling!!
