But yet somehow, Warlick is making a game out of it. Have no doubt this will be a blowout, but everyone thinks they have a shot at the lady vols now.

Well that was UGLY! No words really. 13 TOs. And Coach said our offense was fine in that last press conference???? Not sure she's seeing what I just saw. Ugly offense!!!

UT just isn't very well coached, that's all there is to it. We don't play hard and smart consistently on defense, and we play a lot of dumb basketball offensively. Playing a team that isn't very good tonight and the usual array of Vol mistakes has kept Miss. State close.

I don't even recognize these girls. They have UT jerseys on, but this can't be a Tennessee team. This is not the basketball I grew up with. They look so lost, like they don't know what they are suppose to do.

Called this game being closer than everyone thought it would be. I'm telling you if the coaching staff doesn't get it together quickly disaster is lurking in the back half of this schedule.

When we were up 8 going into the half I told my wife they will give up an open three and then State will eat up the rest of the lead before the half. Damned if we didn't try to hand it to them.

We are nothing if not predictable. Not a bit of toughness on this squad. They look for every opportunity to fold. I am afraid they will choke this game away if it is close at the end because they know they are in the midst of a losing streak. The pressure would be too much for them.

And they just love to throw the ball away.

Pick 5 and let them play. Stop all the subbing. If a player gets winded, sub then. No chemistry because the mix is constantly changing..

That was a really odd lineup -
Burdick
Jones
Russell
Harrison
Masengale

Only one ball handler in the bunch. And she was paired with several players who commit a ton of turnovers.

Looks like Holly just decided to put in a lineup to rebound and play defense.

I said we would regret not having another guard before the season started. Simmons is apparently mentally done. She just can't get in a groove and have a good game.

And Carter needs to shoot the damn ball sometimes. She won't even take a shot under the basket.

Problem is a lot of people will not/do not see the issues. There is so much talent on this team they can beat most teams purely on talent alone. And as long as they hang around 10 - 15th in the rankings everything is good as far as the administration is concerned.

This is game is going like the vandy game did. They could end up having a losing conference record this year.

If they continue to play in the manner they have in the last 3 halves of basketball they won't be ranked by the end of the year.

State's only post has four fouls and we can't score inside...

We play to the other team's strengths rather than making them play to ours.
