Because that is what they are taught to do. It is the only play in our offense.

EVERYONE hates these refs. They are just that bad.

That was an attitude adjustment call the ref just made against MO. There is no place for that sort of thing. It is petty.

Well we won that quarter but we make winning so hard. This could have been a blow out. Still could if we'd come out on a 10 to 0 run.

I like our intensity. We have missed a lot of opportunities but we have stuck with it.

If the LV's can score at least 10 points in this period I think they win. The defense has been pretty good. Rebounding so-so. Offense in spurts.

So we clear out for DeShields to take the last shot of the quarter--and inexplicably she passes the ball to Carter deep in the corner, who has to take a last-second shot. What was DeShields thinking? I don't think she was thinking. That is twice we've botched the last shot of a quarter, with the player with the ball not shooting but passing to somebody who is not open.

Overall, the ladies look much better thus far. I think they will get even better.

Well I think most of us had this game penciled in for a loss, so if the Lady Vols can hold on to win, I think it will give them nice momentum for the rest of SEC play

The refs are fine. That was a good quarter for us, overall. We have made a few threes, and that is important. Missouri is an overachieving team--not very talented at all, really, and not a lot of size.
