Game Thread Lady Vols at Notre Dame

We it's clear all the Holly haters are back, I guess winning 11 games in a row means nothing

It doesn't mean squat to a program like the this. 11 games in a row. Big whoop. This program is measured by Final 4's and National Championships.

Holly is improving but she still makes some bone head decisions. To continue to go at Harrison with her having such a bad game didn't make sense.

This defense let ND shoot 75% in the first half and will let them score over 80 for the game so it really is no great shakes either.

We still just aren't an elite team.

We will never recruit well enough to be elite in the absence of coaching, it's impossible.

Kentucky doesn't measure themselves based on the teams they clobber in the SEC regular season. It's based on titles.

In the same way, we shouldn't measure ourselves on wins over Missouri, Auburn, and Arkansas. Tennessee is supposed to be elite. Notre Dame is elite over the past five years. So naturally when we lose like we have there are gonna be criticisms and questions.

Graves' play has been encouraging. We need this kind of offensive effort and production from her. Massengale has to give us more offense too. Izzy basically cost us any chance to win the game: she literally missed about 7 straight layups/2 foot shots to start the second half--but she gets tired carrying a huge load.

ND kills us with back-door cuts, pick and roll: They are the most fundamental team in the sport, and they always expose our lack of fundamentals. Some positive signs tonight--but the only way Warlick will be McGraw is if we have lots more talent.

Aren't fundamentals part of coaching? We have more 5 stars. ND have freshmen who start, we have two 5 star freshmen.

I don't know how ND is winning since they can't breathe. Racist. Celebrating outright racism and injustice done to a man doing his job.

Middleton is savvy but she lacks quickness. Dunbar has the same problem. Both can shoot--supposedly--but you need to be /athletic/ to compete at the highest level. Nared--not sure what to think of her. She was supposed to be the best of the three but hasn't been very agressive or impressive.
