And Jordan I-Can't-Shoot Reynolds obviously gets us off to that great start Holly once mentioned. You know, this team doesn't start games off like crap or anything ...
Others have mentioned this, but burdick is easily at her best when she catches and shoots the ball. If she tries to drive or dribble with the ball, you can bet 90% of the time only will end in a turnover.
One thing is certain, I don't think Tennessee will be able to fall back on the zone if our man isn't effective..I'm pumped for this game..can't wait!!
Wow, going out on a limb there aren't you (or else I need to move you to the "clueless as Stwainfan and clkou" category). The LV's have only broken 60+ four times vs. legit opponents, and you are predicting they score 80 again a better than average defensive team like ND? Maybe if you put some asterisks by your prediction indicating your are forecasting triple OT!! lol:
This is typical LV thinking...ya'll get overconfident when we "beat up" (get by) teams that we simply have more talent than. The flaws that have haunted this team for years and that you have "misremembered" will rear their ugly collective heads again tonight. Get ready for another rude awakening that reminds you that the LV's are not close to being able to compete for a NC. Remember, ND got beat down pretty good on their home floor vs. UConn. What are ya'll gonna say when the LV's get trounced tonight? I'm hoping this is not the case, but our offense simply isn't anywhere near where it needs to be to compete with the Elite teams like UConn and ND>
After all my moaning & groaning about C. Holly, Tn's bigs, Lack of effort and mismanagement of personnel, you would think somebody would notice that big smilie face at the end of my post for what it is. jeez! tough crowd!
I don't see anybody for Tn that has the athleticism to match Turner. We need to use additional scoring firepower(Moore & Dunbar/Nared) instead of Graves to stay close. imho Graves can't make an open layup half the time....
I think we lose by 10. I hope I'm wrong and that we make a statement tonight on the road against a top team. I'm just used to us losing games like this, I'm waiting to be proven wrong.
The way I plan to enjoy this game is to go in with no expectations. If we get beaten then that just means we have more work to do and we are no worse off than we were. If we win then we have turned a corner and proven we can beat elite teams on the road.
