Game Thread Lady Vols at Ole Miss

We have players who are such weenies mentally---starting with Middleton but also DeShields, Reynolds, others. And Warlick. The program is in a sad state--been in a sad state for years. Pls. write Hart, as I have, and tell him we are not going to accept this BS any longer. When I tuned in, at the start of the 3rd Q, we had a 10 point lead!

The team came out flat got behind by 10 then played to a 13 point lead guess they thought they had the game relaxed and quit and another loss.

You can count on them being flat for at least 3 quarters

This was awful, no excuse for this. Holly should be fired. She has taken this program to an all time low. Let us face it this staff sucks. This is not on the players.

I have to disagree with your last statement. Yes, CHW is a failure as a head coach. But the players are responsible for this loss as well. CHW wasn't out there jacking up low percentage shots and getting lost on defense.

Coaching-wise... after a made bucket we were down 2 points with 38 seconds to go. Who in their right mind would foul on the inbounds?? You play successful defense for 25-30 seconds and set up your offense in the last 8=10 secs in order to tie or win.

HW is terrible.

Just got all settled in and ready to watch this one online. I counted this as an automatic win. I have scrolled through the thread and I am guessing a lot of it had to do with bad defense coupled with missed shots?

I wish I could figure them out. I really do. Watching game tape has to be exhausting for this coaching staff.

Similar to the MSU game. Lousy shooting (35%, 11% from three), more turnovers than assists (only 11 assists for the entire game), and too much one-on-one (everybody look at me) basketball.

Diamond shoots 27% (0% from three).

There doesn't have to be 64 better teams. There are ~32 automatic bids, many of which will go to mediocre teams. There only needs to be 32 better teams to knock Tenn out of the at-large bids.

The Vol Nation needs to stand together and demand that the lady Vols deserve a good coach! A petition was started to get rid of a pretty good mens coach. Where are you now, petition people? We, The lady vols deserve better!
