Looks like I'll have to record the game and watch it later. Wifey has informed me that there is 100% chance that my presence will be required at Texas Roadhouse for a birthday dinner tonight. :(

I actually like that idea for a stretch. Mainly because she won't beat Diamond off the dribble and because Wilson has a tendency to pick up charge fouls at times instead of taking the 6 to 8 footer. I wouldn't recommend it for the entire game but to close out a couple of quarters why not.

We don't have anybody that can match the power and strength of Wilson and Coates unless we could being Parker and Anosike back. I don't know what will happen tonight but their inside game definitely looks to be the difference maybe Holly has come up with something to stop those two.

When SC played Texas and Louisville, she repeatedly drove left and then hit a short jumper. Her defender couldn't stop her because she could just shoot over her. She's definitely added this to her game.

Holly has to be ready to use Qui and probably Dunbar to give Nared a rest if she's expected to guard Wilson all night. Qui is physical, but Dunbar will require that Wilson actually guard her. Tough call...

Coates can be shut down. Both UConn and Tennessee did it last year. The difference is that Coates pretty much shut down Russell in return.

Tennessee will need points from MR. SC can win without Coates having a big scoring game. I do not believe that Tennessee can, unless Jackson, Middleton and Reynolds can combine for about 30 points.

True, however I do feel that Diamond's leaping ability could compensate for some of that. Like I said I wouldn't recommend this for a long period of time but if Wilson is in near the end of a quarter I say try it. Those legs get tired and she has a tendency to start barreling in instead of taking that jumper.

I really hope Tennessee goes double post with Nunn and Russell @ some point I think they might be able to hold their own defensively for a bit. It might get a little sketchy offensively though. As far as Dunbar goes I see her so rarely I was beginning to think she was myth.

This is the fastest paced game I've seen the LV's play this season. Our offense is much better at this pace. It suits the players we have.
Not sure if we can maintain it without a bench.

We have Russell guarding Wilson now with Coates on the bench with 2 fouls. Not the best matchup for us.

If Russell is going to play this soff we have to get Nunn in there, atleast she's going to bang and get on the boards, Holly has to watch her substitutions also, MeMe picked up a quick foul but I dont think she should've sat so soon for middleton
