I wish Diamond would get her **** together
I know we won this game but this team is just hard to watch. Disjointed on offense. No flow. Too much dribbling. No movement. All the same problems remain. It's just Vandy doesn't have the players to take advantage.

If the coach will allow her to play like she is allowing the other ones to she probably will. Reynolds and Russell seems to make similar errors yet play a bunch of minutes but its like as soon as Diamond makes a mistake she has to sit. Holly has a "star" if she just allow her to play her game and stop trying to force her fraudulent system on Diamond. Every coach has a system but when they come across a talent that is too hard to stop they let them do their thing. Look at Mitchell at OSU, Shonni Shimmell when she was at Louisville, Banham at Minny, Maya at UConn, Vivians at Missippi State, Epps at Kentucky. You rarely saw their coaches micromanage/try to force them to run a certain style, they made their players play to that players style which became better for the team
When Diamond was getting a lot of minutes earlier in the season and was a TO machine, people were complaining that Holly needed to sit her until she got it together. Now Holly is limiting her minutes more and has a quicker hook and people are complaining that Diamond needs more playing time to work things out. Good grief.
Congrats on the win ladies. It was very much needed!!

You've got to take into account the type of people who post in the Lady Vols forum. Many of them are ONLY here to Criticize.
They post so many critical statements about Holly after every game that they can't even remember what they have posted from one game to the next.
Isn't this like the pot calling the kettle black considering you relentlessly critized Cooper about her play, but now that she is coming along very well, you don't even point it out. I'd rather be critical of Holly, than an 18 year old teenager that is trying to grow into the college game.
As far as Holly is concerned, she has made numerous coaching mistakes this season, the most glaring being the out of sorts substitution pattern, even Andy Landers, Carolyn Peck, Sue Bird, and other ESPN commentators have pointed that out about Holly subbing to much. If these professional analysts are critizing Holly, it only makes sense that the fans will do the same, especially if the same issues keep creeping up game after game. I mean her team has led in EVERY game they've played this season, including double digit leads in ALL of their SEC losses. My own personal opinion is I'm not ready to give up on Holly quite yet, but I totally understand if other fans have totally lost faith in her ability to successfully lead this team and are ready for a new direction.
