we were lucky to only give up 1 run. Was the official ruling wild pitches! Both should have been stopped. It said postponed which makes me think will start with Vines starting to bat and Leach on first.
That catcher was Hannah Akamine who I think transferred one of the Oregon schools.
Word then was she wanted to give up softball because she was in love and tired of the time it takes to be great. The Weekleys tried to talk her into staying but with Aldrette going to get all the games she left. She was from the left coast so she was going back home in a way.
SCHEDULE CHANGE: UT & Auburn to Play Doubleheader Sunday - University of Tennessee Official Athletic SiteAn error, walk and two wild pitches is not how you start an SEC game. We have given up too many runs like that this year and it is why we are not a serious contender, at this point. Let's get it together tomorrow. I assume the game will start over and not be a continuation of game one.
Inclement weather postponed the series opener between No. 13/12 Tennessee and No. 3/3 Auburn tonight after just half an inning of play. The game will be resumed at 3 p.m. tomorrow with Game 2 of the series still slated for its original start time of 7 p.m. tomorrow night.
Tonights game will resume with no outs and Aubrey Leach on first base after a leadoff walk in the bottom of the first inning. Auburn scored a run in the top of the first and leads 1-0.
Tickets purchased for tonights game will be good for the first game of the day tomorrow, but not for the second game. Game 1 tomorrow will be streamed on SEC Network +/WatchESPN while Game 2 will be on ESPNU. Fans can also listen to both games live on WNML AM 990
