Guys yall act like the SEC is full of terrible teams....it is the best conference!! Leach will be better that is a tough kid...The ole miss pitching coach is a good one I tried telling yall that last night and today she had a pitcher that was on...hopefully we will light up Osias tomorrow since I'm sure she will be the one we see

Oh come on, you know as well as the rest of us TN gave this game away. TN now has 3 conference losses that should have been wins but weren't due to unearned runs. Unearned runs means exactly that - the opponent didn't earn them.

Ole Miss is a solid team but nobody is picking them to go to Oklahoma City. TN should have beaten them IMO.

I think the team will bounce back nicely and win the series tomorrow. If we take care of our business, then KY & Bama losses will secure us the #2 seed. If we take care of our business, then either a KY or Bama loss (only one of 'em wins) will secure us the #3 seed. If we take care of our business and both KY & Bama win too, then we will be the #4 seed. Just win baby, win!

Not just at home, she shut out UGA in Athens last week. 3 straight shutouts.

Alabama's comeback win over Georgia today is an example of the kind of mental toughness TN needs more of.

We would have won this game had it been tonight and not at noon. They were not geared up mentally or physically...Getting jerked around by TV....but we do get a ton of exposure with the SEC network. I guess the bad with the good.

No but did anyone pick Kentucky to beat UCLA a few years ago to get to OKC :p The leaders of this team know what they have to do and they will get it done

I would feel a lot better about our chances for OKC appearance if we do get to host a super regional. That's why tomorrow's game and the SECT play are so crucial for TN. IMO, a top 8 national seed is a must if TN wants to get to the WCWS next month. At home, we are almost unbeatable (22-1). On the road, we are 6-9 so far. Not an ideal situation if TN has to travel to play a super regional series at someone else's home...

IMO a Super Regional is out of reach.The only way to get a Super regional is to win today and then win SEC Tourney .....with our fielding problems ,what is the odds of doing that ?

It will take a hot streak and I am not sure we have all the tools.

I don't expect to get to the World Series this season it would be a surprise. Were a terrible road team and looks like that we'll be on the road for the Super Regional.

Geer looks lost today in the box. Get one going and another gets lost. That kind of year even though we have a great record that most teams and fans would be satisfied with.

TN assured of no worse than the 4 seed. If GA holds it's lead over Bama, TN gets the 3 seed.

TN knocked Osias out today - same pitcher that 2-hit them yesterday. That is enough evidence to me that they weren't focused yesterday.

No. Kentucky won today and finished 17-7. TN is now 16-7, a half game back. We cannot finish ahead of them.

Gotcha. Didn't realize Auburn game was over yet. I knew UK won but I thought it still came down to the Auburn game for us as a chance at the #2 seed in SEC tourney. Oh well, 3rd will be just fine. Sill a 1st round buy.

Alabama is losing 9-1 is the sixth..looks like we will be the 3seed..I'll take it keeps us away from Florida

AU went final over A&M 5-4. AU is now 16-7. TN has the tie breaker over them.

GA and Bama still playing. That game will determine the final seeding.

If Bama comes back and wins over GA they get the 2 seed. If they lose they fall all the way to 5.

So, if Bama loses today the conference would finish like this:

1. Florida
2. Kentucky
3. Tennessee
4. Auburn
5. Alabama
