If we can hit three run homers an error or two want matter. We really hitting some hots today. I wonder where McSwain gets that kind of power she looks like she weighs about 100 pounds.

Gaffin hasn't had her best game today. Team has made it harder with a lot of errors. Lucky for us Virginia Tech can't throw a strike think they have walked about 10 and then given up several homers.

The errors by Gregg (12) and Geer(10) are unacceptable. Last season Shipman had 7 errors all season, she had 6 errors her junior season, and 5 errors her sophomore season, and Geer had 6 errors all last season. What is going on? Is it the skittles?

Very efficient outing by Gaffin - 80 pitches over 6 innings is an average of less than 5 pitches per batter.

After one of the Auburn games coach Myers for Auburn was mad at his team saying in effect that Gaffin was easy to hit. The hitter has to lay off any pitch that looks hittable because her drop ball is so good. If you swing at it, swing to undercut it. Any ball that starts out out of the strike zone will stay out of the strike zone so leave it alone. I think he may be right and this may be why Gaffin is mostly used in relief.

Ralph was talking yesterday about how good the Tech pitchers were. :p

I just now watched the video interview with Ralph. He said he was very disappointed in the play of the fielders. He said the errors are unacceptable and they weren't ready to play. (He said there were 5 errors but the stats show 3). He also said the HR by Koenig may be the longest hit ball he's ever seen in a college softball game. He had a lot of praise for McSwain.

Ok, the MSU series starts tomorrow (Friday) at 6:30 pm. We're ahead of them in the standings so come on LV's, get a sweep. Those moron punks took last season's series, don't let them get out of the dugout this time around! Is there a way to run-rule a team in the 1st inning? If there is, DO IT!!

LV's up 1-0 on MSU bottom of the 2nd. Koenig homered for the LV's. Gaffin pitching.

MSU with 3 singles and the bases loaded in the bottom of the 2nd but can't get a run. Gaffin doesn't have her best stuff evidently. She's already given up 4 hits.
