I think that we may be one of the most athletic teams in the country. Youth may be our possible sore spot, recent events do not show a glaring issue. The freshmen occasionally make freshmen mistakes and some of that should be expected.
Missouri, Miss. State and USC are a tough out, however, we proved ourselves against a very athletic Texas team. If our players stay focused and play up to their capabilities we have an even shot against any of the top ten program. This team can really be something special.
Agreed.
We should all be extremely happy that Tennessee has had games when each of the five usual starters has led the team in scoring, and then they've had several players come off the bench to much success. The Lady Vols are no longer easy to defend because on any given day just about anyone could have a huge game.
That's why it's so fun (for me, anyway) to watch them, and why (so far, at least) I have yet to get that dread feeling of, "Oh no! Not again!" as the ship starts sinking and the players start tightening up and playing not to lose.
I feel like this team has far more legitimately-worrisome weapons for opponents to have to deal with. This is fun!
