Guards will learn so much from this game. The freshman will learn so much from this game. They have to get tougher. This game will help us get better. I like the physical basketball. SEC basketball.

Auburn is a decent team and so are we so there's that.

Close game, sloppy but winnable.

Annie at the line and we have the lead with seconds to go in the 3rd.

We'll win You'll see.

It's just one of those game where the ladies are playing slow and methodical.

We will win this game but it is a fight, and I like that. Our ladies are not backing down, even though they are not playing their best basketball. Keep fighting ladies, find a way to win.

I agree however now that the flaw has been exposed we should expect more team to press.

We haven't faced many tenacious defenders that press constantly, and it shows. Auburn isn't even very good, but their tenaciousness has rattled the Lady Vols.

There are likely better teams with even more tenacious defenses that Tennessee will have to beat to go far in post-season. This game is a good eye-opener for the team because it's certainly only going to get tougher.

I'd just like for the Lady Vols to end the game strong.

Good news is the LV has kept Auburn's leading scorer in check. LV will still win. If nothing else this game tape will be useful. Do you think this is them playing down to their opponent or just not being prepared enough for Auburn's defense?

Exactly. It's an ugly game, but there is no way Tennessee should lose this unless they completely collapse. They have the players to score in bunches. Auburn does not.

I'm still on track for my 72-55 prediction.

Yes, but these ladies want to be the best. The will work on it. They will probably work on it on their own. I don't think E or Annie, want to be known as average guards. This game is great game, before the gauntlet in my opinion, now let's poise up and get this win.

Dangerous game. Auburn really wants this win and they're not going away. The LVs have been sloppy and aren't playing with confidence. It's probably going to stay close.
