Enjoyed the game much better defense in the second half they only get 20 points. Jaden McCoy swishing the three what a surprise that was. She actually looked really good moving around the floor as well maybe she can get in the rotation. Bring that three with you to Texas Lady Vols.

Tennessee destroyed them on the boards but couldn't guard or make a shot. Just looked Baylor held them to 27 percent shooting 48 to 37 on the boards. We beat them 56 to 34 on the boards but the shot it for 40 percent while we shot in the 30's and let them get to the line 30 times.

haha let him have his moment he is just happy he said “play mccoy over green” because of her height never said anything about her shooting ability:) lucky guess maybe he should play the lottery

my granddad used to say (God rest his soul) even a blind squirrel finds a nutt every now and then LOL

She’s due for a big game for sure. Hopefully it’ll come naturally. If they can all click and get in a rhythm we could be dangerous. From this game I think it’s pretty clear they worked on offense this week in practice lol. Game was added on short notice and not much time for film and defensive game plan.

We played okay, considering the multiple lineup changes, however, without Burrell we would have been in a dog fight. We must improve defending the 3. I still wonder if this multiple lineup changing isn’t affecting Davis’ consistency and shooting issues. The team did not seem that fluid against Furman. They will need to play better against Texas or they could get beat handily. I still am concerned about some of our players toughness. Key is a very good shot blocker but she has to watch getting into foul trouble. All and all we did not have outstanding post play.

Rennia also had four turnovers tonight and looks like she don't want to shoot it. That was a really bad decision on that pass to KK when she was three feet away from the basket herself. She had a couple shots go half way down and pop out tonight just not having much luck She is looking very frustrated and that won't help her get out of the slump.

With Davis, and to some extent Horston, the quality of opponent usually doesn't matter much. She's her own nemesis. Of course sometimes teams just throw a really good defense on her, but usually its just her streaky nature and own head that hold her down. And I don't mean head as in pouty, just one of those players who is fragile emotionally. LOL Pat would have had a time with Rennia and vice versa.

I hope Coach Harper learned something tonite about her different lineup play.

I do not understand Key's play .She has always been kinda meek and non physical in her play but she showed some real flashes last year .She has not started this year and is even playing more timid this year....in any event she is not showing any aggressiveness on the boards ,on offense but some on defense.She has such potential which is not being tapped .I was hoping Mr Harper would really work with her development this year but so far any development he has tried to make has not surfaced at least to me.Someone needs to give her a shot of confidence and the only way to do that is coach her up ,turn her loose and play her a lot .... and I mean a lot. This team is going nowhere unless they can get Key playing aggressively and with confidence.

Imo that has been her biggest issue this season so far is her lack of aggression! If she looks to get hers like Rae is doing, we would still be undefeated. But for some reason this year she seems to be looking to facilitate more instead of looking to get hers! We have a couple facilitators (Horston and Walker) we need Renia to get hers like Rae is! When that happens we will be hard to beat for sure!
