I'm not overly impressed with LSU as they could easily have two loses by now even with their weak schedule. They could/should have lost to Washington (they won 68-67) and Stanford (94-88 win in overtime), and in several games they let teams hang around until late. LSU trailed Murray State and Albany at halftime before pulling away in the last five minutes.

If TN can box out they win by a pair of 3's.

Good news: LSU has pg struggles. Nothing helps us more.

Bad news: LSU has not one, not two, but the three best players we’ve played against all year in Johnson, Williams and Morrow.

Bottom line: we have to hit shots, esp 3s, early and often. If we do we have a decent chance to win.

This is true.
Same thing I said before the Oklahoma game stands for the LSU game.
If Tennessee has a solid game and LSU has a solid game then the Lady Vols win by a good margin.
Against Oklahoma, the Lady Vols were inconsistent and loss by a point with a chance to win at the buzzer.
They won’t see anything from LSU they haven’t seen already. Hannah S from Iowa and Ta’Niya Latson from Florida St. are the best two way post player and guard they’ll see this year before facing South Carolina.
In order to improve the defense, particularly in the post the staff must give Latham and Hollingshead more minutes.
Hollingshead played serviceable defense against the 6’4 traditional centers at Iowa and Oklahoma.
Latham plays good defense and is versatile enough to guard every position 1-5. Her fouls are usually 50/50 calls.
I don’t know what can be taught or learned from losses and film that will make any player on the team as good as a natural defender as Latham. Offensively, the system doesn’t really fit her which means some adjustments will need to be made but either way she needs to be on the court if defense is the priority.

Jill and TK did a stellar job against AR and Morrow last year. HVL just lit us up. I would def be tapping into Jill's SEC knowledge and experience before this game.

Right. Tennessee has athletic and versatile defenders in Jill Hollingshead, Lazaria Spearman, and Alyssa Latham.
And honestly these players don’t play enough time together in games.
It wouldn’t hurt to game-plan 1:30 - 2 minutes without an emphasis on shooting 3s and running to get them on the court together when the team needs defensive stops. All players are versatile enough to still provide enough offense.
Tennessee is a better team than LSU.
GBO!

Kim said a couple of times during the win streak they really needed to lose a game for the coaches to get the players attention on things they needed to correct. Just because they managed only a one point loss doesn't mean they played well, so hope it does.

I anticipate a new winning streak will start beginning with this game on Thursday.
I think both playing and coaching in-game needs to continue to make progress.
One area I would like to see improve is the chemistry with ALL of our top scorers playing off each other Samara Spencer, Talaysia Cooper, Ruby Whitehorn, Lazaria Spearman, and Jewel Spear.
I noticed Jewel Spear and Samara Spencer play great off of one another.
Talaysia Cooper and Lazaria Spearman play great off of one another.
But there’s not a lot of consistency with all players showing that kind of chemistry on the court together.
That’s the next step this team needs to take and it’s not just on the players to figure it out but also the staff.

Latham can fit offensively.. She is more talented then Hollingshed and Spearman.

The Lady Vols attendance from the start has been really strong all season. Nothing can deny that fact. On par with the best in the nation.
The stuff I see with a handful of people trying to discredit the Lady Vols attendance is nonsense.
We all can see it and I’m glad the players, coaches, and school leaders are making these posts to acknowledge the support the LV program is getting at home.

Tell 'em, Donde! LFG! Great team at the top.
