Game Thread Lady Vols vs Ole Miss

I think Holly has took Diamond and a couple other players and turned their confidence and their games into what you see now. No one can really have a great game in that ugly offense unless they are a great three point shooter.

Man I feel for Diamond..I honestly think she hasn't ever learned to play the game right..she has been so much more athletic than other player's she hasn't had to develop her game..unfortunately now it looks like her confidence is gone

I remember when it was "UT's going to sign DeShields and Davis and going to rock the next four years." It's a shame Pat fell ill -- I think she would have been able to draw a lot of strength out of her.

The crazy thing about this game was that we were the better team, pretty easily, but we couldn't score enough to pull away. We absolutely HAVE to find a solution for our terrible shooting - wasn't it something like 29% in the first half?

it's not why we almost choked another game. We have a stupid offense that involves too much dribbling by guards on the perimeter that ACCOMPLISHES nothing. Our offensive system--whatever they hell it is--SUX. That cannot be emphasized strongly enough. IN the fourth quarter we were setting no picks, Carter spent half of every possession sort of moving around dribbling--and then we'd throw up some shot at the shot clock buzzer. Twice we did not get a shot off. We also seem to get very panicky in tight spots--this team is so weak-minded. DD misses two key free throws (!), then misses a 3-footer at the basket in the fourth. And so it goes...

Meme & Kortney should have been players of the game! Kortney only girl on the team mentally tough.

You guys are delusional..short of a scandal or back to back losing seasons, Holly will not be fired.

I agree she'll be back next season with a weaker team than this season as we have no recruiting class. So expect another double digit loss season.

She is the reason our offense sux. She was great but she was clueless about teaching good team offense--and her trusty cheerleader friend, Holly, is very determined to carry on the same pathetic offensive tradition. Despite the very obvious fact that our high-school offense is the reason we sux, and we struggle to get to 50 points every game while UConn is scoring 80+, Warlick keeps talking about effort and doesn't play the best shooter on the team because she claims she not great defensively, when in fact we have no great defenders and a lot of bad offensive players. We are the lowest IQ program in America.

So we won? Legions of the miserable in this thread...you guys do know that you are the minority and that you are free to chose another team to cheer for right?

We will struggle against any team that can put 5 warm bodies on the floor, seriously, because our offense is so bad and we can barely get to 50. This is why we get beat by bad teams or squeak by--because we are very bad ourselves.

13k loud cheering fans at TBA disagree..Dewey said himself that the vast majority that talks to him support Holly and the team..it's just on here to pump out your chest and call for her to be fired behind anonymous screen names

Hope you enjoy being miserable then..no way UT fires a woman winning 80% of her games and who was the first UT player to have a number retired immediately at the end of her career

Maybe we can find a way to win out and overachieve in the postseason.

It's doubtful Hart will fire Holly right after settling three civil suits with women and a Title IX case just filed-- not after she just won her 100th game.

Were averaging around 10k for home games so 13k is a huge exaggeration.

Just curious, were you expelled from UT or something of a similar bad nature? You seem to have a lot of hate in you.

How is that relevant to now? I'll wait? What has she done for UT lately? I don't see any Final Fours or National Titles as a coach on that Resume
