Our guards can't throw it in the ocean. Collectively they're 8-29. And 0-10 from behind the arc. Add in JJ's 3-11, and you can see why we're barely ahead.

Rankings are meaningless this early in the season. We are just beginning to see which teams are good on the court vs. on paper.

It is safe to say we aren't one of the top four teams in the country right now. But we have the talent to be before the end of the year. Holly just has to put it together. No excuses if she doesn't.

Well we did manage a win and it is a lONG SEASON but, we have an equally long way to go to make it to the FF based on this game. Penn St is a mediocre team when they're healthy. The team they had on the court in the second half would be ranked over #100 and they played us even until the last 2 minutes of the game.
Did anyone hear if KD was injured ? I didn't see her in the second half at all.

One thing i can say is that we haven't had a Te'a or Diamond in the past 4 years. Even though they made some bad decisions, Diamond isn't 100% and Te'a is a freshman.

A win is a win and hopefully this was just a combination of players learning to play together and getting the rust off. I'm not gonna draw too many inferences from it.

My hope is in the long term were going to settle on a more condensed group of 8 players that see the floor. It's fairly obvious some of these players have more talent and ability than others.

Love what I'm seeing from Cooper.

This wouldn't have been close if we could hit a few threes. We need to quit taking them if were going to hit 1 of 13. It would be better to get inside because of those 13 shots sure we would make four or five.

Penn State had one player shooting unusually well from the three and everywhere she put one up. She finally missed a few in the fourth quarter.

First time to see our Lady Vols this year. Not too impressed w/DD yet from all the hipe I've heard about her for so long. We're Not a TOP 5 team by any means. We're lucky to beat Penn State at home tonight.

Congrats on the win ladies!!! Who is the fifth piece that joins Cooper, Diamond, Graves, and Russell in the starting lineup? These 4 ladies are out for blood. I see it in Dunbar but she will backup Graves. Also, Middleton has been solid. I would love it if Carter could start but offensively she just isn't aggressive at all. Maybe when Nared gets back it will work itself out. Imagine the team at that point. I am excited!!!!

penn state made tough shots the lvs didn't. several ot the threes were well defensed. not much blocking out on the defensive end. however the gam will produce a great learning tape. cooper is for real.
