I'll probably get smashed for this but I believe Cooper, Reynolds, Deshields, Graves, and Russell is our best lineup. They started meshing well together on the court.

Five to our 1 is 15 points to 3 from the three and 3 for 7 is good three point shooting wish we had someone that could do that. If we make five we win by 20

Quite frankly - that better be a wake-up call. If Graves didn't have her best game they lose. At home.

Reynolds can stay until Nared comes back then:
Cooper/Carter
Deshields/Middleton/Jackson
Nared/Reynolds/Jones
Graves/Dunbar
Russell/Moore

This team has begun to see it's
potential

Diamond hasn't played in a year and it shows in her game. She will get back into form. I like the lineup of Russell, Graves, Diamond, Carter, and Cooper they won the fourth quarter and saved the game.

yep :) it will take em another couple of weeks to have this years team figured out

there are a lot of new players this year and some injured ones coming back,I think it will be more of a team chemistry thing rather than talent this year

Here's my take:

This game was played at PSU's pace. The LV's had a couple of breakaways but that was all. PSU was able to score inside too easily. Russell was unable to defend as effectively as I thought she should. Same for Graves also but that wasn't a surprise. Perimeter shooting was terrible. It'll be a replay of last season if the perimeter players can't shoot. PSU played zone all game long. The LV's should have lit them up. The TO's were way too high. Season after season the LV's TO's are too high. In the past this has been a byproduct of forcing the ball inside. In this game there were sloppy passes and plays all over the court.

Holly is in love with Jones, Carter, and Reynolds. Me, not so much.

The result (a win) and closeness of the score (I expected about a 10-12 point win) did not surprise me. The all-around poor play did.

I'll wait and see what Friday brings for Syracuse.

Holly will have to cut that rotation you can't play everybody. Jones is not a perimeter player and she looks rusty as well.
Need a three point shooter against the zone as we'll see plenty of zone after the success Penn State had tonight.

they did play down to PSU level,but we all know there is a lot of work to be done by the Lady Vols and they will get better as time goes on,the lack of 3 point shooting was what bothered me the most

This was a really weak performance but when the game was on the line Holly got the right lineup in there.

Not a good game by the Lady Vols.

Will cut Diamond some slack because of her injuries and how long it has been since she last played. She will improve. Made a couple of Larry Bird-like passes.

Cooper tends to play out of control and one on one. Needs more discipline. She reminds me of Jasmine Jones.

Graves was phenomenal tonight, and Russell played well.

Needless to say, the Lady Vols better improve a whole lot real soon because the number eight ranked Texas Long Horns are coming to TBA in just eleven days, and they are a whole lot better than Penn State.

Carter just isn't that good tbh lol she gets way too many minutes. Her stats tonight 4 pts 2 reb 1 steal & 3 turnovers in 28 minutes

That's Holly's genius player management pattern for ya. We saw it last year and it continues this year. Holly finally saw the light in the last quarter and had the appropriate lineup in.

I disagree with this comparison. Cooper can actually dribble the ball without turning it over. Sometimes I think Jones has some kind of anti-basketball rays emanating from her hands that repels the ball.
