Ruby Whitehorn is the x-factor. Just like Texas didn’t have anyone that could guard Ruby this South Carolina team won’t have anyone that can guard her.
It’ll take a Bre Beal type of defender to contain Whitehorn at the guard/wing position.
When Coop and Whitehorn start playing 30mins a game this team is going to close out games with a W.
All eyes are on Coach Caldwell and Tennessee. Never seen this before in the lady’s game for a 1st year coach on ESPN the game announcers talked for about a minute or so during the Kentucky vs Vanderbilt men’s game about the Lady Vols being essentially 4 last second possessions and 8 points away from an undefeated record.
Imagine that in year 1!
Still a lot of basketball left to be played.
GBO ‘solid’’!

No disrespect to Whitehorn but SC has faced her twice now at Clemson and she didn’t have a good game in either matchup. I’m sure she does better this time around but her primary defender will likely be Bree Hall who’s shut Mikaylah Williams and Madison Booker both down. Booker shooting 3-19 and Williams 5-18 in the matchup against Hall were both season low for two of the more dynamic Wings in the SEC and country. Whitehorn will have her work cut out if she wants a repeat performance from Thursday imo.

What does that have to do with Ruby at Tennessee?
Im sure teams that played PaoPao at Oregon didn’t face the same player at South Carolina.
Like I said, Texas didn’t have anyone that could guard Ruby and neither will South Carolina. Ruby is the x-factor.

What's up lady vol fans! We meet again. Looking forward to this game. Our last game vs LSU was big & this one is also. I watched your entire game vs Texas & you guys look formidable. For much of that game you had Texas on the ropes just didn't close them out. Any SC fan who watched your game vs Texas knows you guys can't be taken lightly, & even then that doesn't guarantee we will win. Other than LSU, Tennessee looks to be the most athletic team we will face.. & not just athletic but good quality scorers.

What also takes this game to another level is the all-time SEC record which will be on the line Monday night. SC has won 54 straight SEC regular season games. They can break that record against Tennessee, which is the team that holds the record. That's big.

If Tennessee shoots like they did in their last game they have a good chance at beating SC, & there's no shame in that as a SC fan. Tennessee will be the 5th straight ranked team SC has faced. They play fast & have the talent to be in every game they play this year, especially when they are shooting well. So I'm hoping for a great game & may the team that plays the best that day win!

I just used that as a point that SC has faced her before, so it’s nothing they’ve really never seen before. Also Ruby isn’t a better scorer than Booker or Williams and SC didn’t have a whole lot of problems guarding them. I don’t see what issue she’ll give Tessa Johnson or Bree Hall when they didn’t really have any against better scorers. That’s facts, not an opinion, which you stated. I’m not doubting the young lady at all. I do think she’s very talented a long with Cooper.

Naw that’s your opinion nothing about it is factual. My opinion stands too.

To beat the ladies from South Carolina, our ladies have gort to find "the beast within." ...Find the moment....Be the moment....Own the moment.

Those are the minutes Coop and Whitehorn played against Vandy and we see how that ended up. We actually cut the bench minutes in that game and played the first five 26-30 minutes each and it was the worst we looked on defense and it was one of our lowest if not was our lowest offensive output of the season.

Boy, are you in for a surprise. Mr. Pivot made a valid point. Any player who plays Williams and Booker is a for real defender. The question is, will SC be able to stop the other Lady Vol stars?

That would make sense to the poster that said LSU would be a better team this year without Angel Reese.
That was one post and in another post I talked about several players role and how this team is four last second possessions away from being undefeated.. game announcers in the men’s Kentucky vs Vanderbilt game talked about CKC and the LVs for about a minute stating this very same case.
People across sports are impressed by the LVs and nothing can discredit that fact.
You’re trying too hard to prove a point that ain’t even valid as it relates to Coop and Ruby playing 30 minutes when you LOOK at their statistics per minutes played!
It’s comical you think you’re making sense at all as if losing by a point on the road in a controversial officiated game in the SEC suppose to be detrimental..
