That would make sense to the poster that said LSU would be a better team this year without Angel Reese.
That was one post and in another post I talked about several players role and how this team is four last second possessions away from being undefeated.. game announcers in the menā€™s Kentucky vs Vanderbilt game talked about CKC and the LVs for about a minute stating this very same case.
People across sports are impressed by the LVs and nothing can discredit that fact.
Youā€™re trying too hard to prove a point that ainā€™t even valid as it relates to Coop and Ruby playing 30 minutes when you LOOK at their statistics per minutes played!
Itā€™s comical you think youā€™re making sense at all as if losing by a point on the road in a controversial officiated game in the SEC suppose to be detrimental..
This poster uses facts and actual statistics as they occurred in games rather than the eccentric hyperbole that you regularly post. CKC stated there is a reason thar players in her system play on average of about 20 minutes and that is because of the physicality it takes to play in a system like hers. Fact is, the first five against Vandy played extended minutes and the scoring output for that game was down by over 20 points from the season average and the press was non existent, probably due to fatigue. We did not turn them over, we did not outrebound by a significant margin and possessions were virtually equal. That led to a loss. When it comes to LSU, they are at 20-1 playing without their 6-6 post that would have made a major difference in the way they play had she not been injured most of the season and had it not been for a couple mental mistakes in the 3rd quarter against SC, that game could have gone either way...

Donā€™t use eccentric and hyperbole in a post then manage to make this statement. This is fictional. As fictional as LSU being a better team without Angel Reese this season as you stated. LSU barely pulled away in an ugly win today to beat Texas A&M without Coulibaly. I donā€™t see what difference a player that hasnā€™t played much in two seasons would make but I guess you know something nobody else does.

I love my Lady Vols but I have to be real. This may not be a beat down but, baring a desired upset, the Lady Vols will fall to the Lady Gamecocks. There is just too much five star athleticism power. The Lady Vols will play tough and Cooper will shine and if South Carolina takes us for granted we will win. Barring a miracle we take it on the chin.

South Carolina 75
Lady Vols 70

Will be hoping for an upset!! Go Lady Vols!!

South Carolina is beatable. Nothing about this game is a mismatch. The biggest advantage that South Carolina has over Tennessee is on defense.
As I stated, SC played a close game for four quarters against Michigan.
Games come down to matchups.
Saying itā€™ll take a miracle to beat South Carolina simply isnā€™t accurate.
Tennessee will lose this game if they come out and play inconsistent.
It will come down to which Tennessee team shows up tomorrow night.

With all due respect, are you insane?

A couple of notes from a SC fan. There is NO WAY SC is overlooking this game. Remember Cooper transferred from here and has been a high school rival of Fulwiley, Watkins and Edwards. They have played against her for years.

Chloe Kitts isnā€™t the weak link on this team. It depends on the matchup as to how effective she is, but sheā€™s certainly not a weak link. Sheā€™s a great rebounder and doesnā€™t mind mixing it up. When she goes out itā€™s usually Joyce Edwards coming in. That spot is as strong as any.

i expect a great game. I think the Gamecocks win because they have been in so many big games over the years and know how to win in many ways. We gutted one out when our outside shots werenā€™t falling in a low scoring, defensive game against LSU. We also absolutely clobbered and hung 101 pts on Oklahoma. Youā€™ll cause some turnovers with the press, but Raven is a pretty smart PG and will know where the ball needs to go.

TN has not proven to be ready to overthrow a SC team yet. I hope I am wrong, but I see a competitive game until the closing quarter (thatā€™s best case scenario if TN plays 3 or 4 quarters hard).

TN: 73
SC: 80

Who is there 6'6' post I didn't think they had one other than Del Rosario who is not injured and has been able to play all season. She rides the bench most of the game cause she is not one of their top seven players. She gets in occasionally for a few minutes.

Iā€™m going to go out on a limb and say this is the game we get a chance to see Alyssa Lathamā€™s breakout performance.
We havenā€™t seen Latham play anywhere close to the talent level she possesses.
Whether itā€™s 10 mins, 15 mins, or 25 mins of action tonight this is the game I believe sheā€™ll make a big impact for the LVs rebounding and on defense.
GBO ā€˜solidā€™!

UT/USC SERIES NOTES

  • Tennessee leads the all-time series, 51-16, but South Carolina has won the last seven meetings and 10 of the past 11 matchups.
  • Tennessee is 23-5 in Knoxville, 21-5 in Columbia and 7-6 at neutral sites vs. the Gamecocks.
  • UT is 1-0 in overtime games vs. USC, taking a 79-73 extra-frame decision over the Gamecocks in the Palmetto State on Feb. 15, 1996.
  • The Lady Vols are 3-5 vs. USC in the SEC Tournament after falling, 74-73, in Greenville, S.C., on a last-second three-pointer in the SEC semifinals on March 9, 2024.
SC has gained a lot of ground in the all time series remember when it was 48 to 2 so they have won most of the games for the last six seasons.
