I’m not even going to say we’ll be better when so and so is gone, because we’ve been saying we’ve got better on the bench for years now. They need to overhaul everything. Holly needs to go and study offenses and learn what screens and pick and rolls are. They need to teach them defensive mechanics, how to move their feet, keeping their hands up, and what is help side defense. Also, everybody needs to know how to handle the ball.

I think Holly is too nice. Yeah, Holly was there all the times Coach Summitt was yelling and glaring, but that's just not her style, I understand that. She has to find a way to motivate her players, show some passion, some get in your face type of coaching sometimes. When Hayes is throwing up circus shots, she needs to get in her face, sit her, whatever. They fed off her when she got that technical tonight, but normally Holly's very quiet on the sidelines, throwing her arms up as if to say "I don't know". I like Holly and I want her and the team to succeed, but she has to light a fire under these women sometimes; I don't know if she's capable of doing that.

A'ja didn't win this for SCAR. The LVs lost it with missed shots. SCAR had a record high 26 TOs and the LVs couldn't convert them into points. They hustled to keep it closer than it could have been with such abysmal shooting.

Oh no, there's no way, I agree with you about starting Green over Russell. I just don't want "throw it in to Green" to be what our offense boils down to next year.
Get her touches, sure, but Rennia Davis has scoring written all over her. If she can get us those 8-10 easy points a game, and play both ends, I think she could easily be our leader next year. But that would mean having an offense for her to score within, and ... sigh ... yeah, maybe throw it in to Green.

The offense won’t be through it to Green next year. You see how they ignore her now when she gets in the game. Majority of her touches are o boards. What I like about Green is she looks to kick it out to the 3 pt shooter and she looks for a cutter when she doesn’t have the shot.

86 shots for us and 56 for them yet they made three more field goals. That was an embarrassing offensive performance had nothing to do with their defense we missed at least 10 wide open layups.

Well, of course. Russell acts as if her height is all she needs to play ball, maybe that worked in high school, but not now! Like she just needs to stand there and the ball will come to her. If she hopes to make it in the WNBA, she's got a lot to work on cause she'll get steamrolled otherwise.
