She just stands there and watches others rebound. Nared got upset with her. She acts as if she has no idea of what to do or where she needs to be. I will be glad to see her leave and IF she goes pro I hope that her coach will run her a$$ off and teach her how to DEFEND, REBOUND, BLOCK OUT, BE TOUGH, and everything else that Holly failed to teach her. Good luck, Mercedes. P.S. Show us some of these things in your next game and probably your last if you don’t. Do it for your teammates.

Ol' Pat would have been livid after this. She would have driven 'em home, skipped every gas station and bathroom along the way, pulled the bus in and marched 'em out into TBA in the same jerseys they lost in. One glower at the score sheet, and she'd say "every missed layup there is two hundred here. Get to work."

10 blocks by SC. I saw a lot of rushed layups if the SC bigs started to gather, even if not tightly contesting the shot. Then there were the ones where they just threw the ball up hoping for a foul. It was a sad shooting display. It would have been worse if Wilson played her regular minutes. They were a completely different team when she was off the court.

She'd definitely have them doing layup drills till they dropped. Up and down the court to 100, one missed layup and they'd start all over.

Mercedes is slow and kind of lumbering. She can't hustle like Jaime can. I think she barked at MR when she dove out of bounds under the SC basket to save a possession, only for Wilson to snatch it and score + 1. MR was never gonna react to the ball quicker than Wilson.

Everyone is bagging on Russell, but I guarantee that Tennessee will struggle to score next year without her. They will live and die by the jumpshot, and we know that Tennessee has not been a jumpshot ING team during the Holly Warlick era.

It would be nice if someone would hold them accountable for these things they are doing instead of being proud of how hard they work and how they “battle”. If someone could get them under control and put them in better positions to win maybe they wouldn’t always have to “battle” to eek out wins over inferior teams.

I honestly do not see them getting to the sweet 16 if they draw a team with experience and discipline. South Florida or Green Bay are examples of teams that can beat us.

In the first quarter Westbrook sent MR a few passes that had Russell not been playing in slo mo would have been dead on. Some games it's like she is moving through quicksand. Tonight was just one of those nights.

Green and KK aren't 6'6 with the offensive arsenal MR has. Even if Holly wanted to, she could not build her offense around them the way she can with MR. No team with any decent size will waste a double let alone a triple team on them.

Westbrook has gotten into her own head again. Or she’s still being hampered by the knee injury. She’s not been herself these last few games.

That SECN graphic saying we made 11-21 layups can't be counting multiple misses. At least twice, the LVs had 2-3 chances to make a layup and missed every one. Has the cause of any LVs loss EVER been missed bunnies?
