Some stats to think about:

When you look at the Four Factors for Tennessee, we have gotten progressively better in each factor over the past three games - except for turnovers.

In the last game, our rebounding factor was off the charts; literally, the highest it has been all season. Our offensive effectiveness has also continued to get better, and has been the best of all season.

Our turnovers was also getting better, until the last game, when it went got worse.

If the Lady Vols can play as well as the last two games, AND have less turnovers, we can win.

The winner here to play an impressive Washington team, which also underachieved and somehow only had a #7 seed, like us. The big girl for Washington is a beast--a wide body who scored 25 and had 18 rebounds today. Stanford couldn't handle her.

Reynolds is out and I assume gone for the year. Massengale and Jones (twice) suffered concussions and neither of them played again that year. A huge blow for us. I watched this team for 20 years and can't ever remember anybody having concussion. We've now had four in three/four years.

I bet we had concussions in the past, like most college programs, except now teams are more careful due to longtime health concerns. We can still win as long as Carter and Cooper keep their heads out of their rears, make positive plays, and lessen the unforced turnovers.
