This game (and Diamond's play since starting the Georgia game) makes you wonder how good would we have been this year had Holly got off her high horse and started Diamond all season

Big win for the LV's. Hopeful signs if they will just keep it going this direction. Wouldn't hurt for Holly to take a few smart pills before tomorrow.

Agreed, DD should always start. It was the slow, double post half court style that brought this season down. This team needs to run.

It makes you wonder how much sooner Holly could have started her if DD had gotten off her high horse, worked in practice, and played defense.

I agree but as you can see Holly/this team needs Diamond, Diamond doesn't need Holly & also MeMe has been one of the best (if not the best) practice players/defenders on her team and how much playing time has that got her?

Really hope Reynolds can come back tomorrow. We had to play Diamond a lot of minutes fatigue could be a problem late in the game tomorrow.

If Kentucky plays like they did today they could knock off South Carolina (whose offense was anemic today) and that would make a Tennessee/Kentucky final!! Can you imagine after all the season was if the Lady Vols won the SEC tourney???

Good win. They looked good and played well when they had a lead in the last 5 minutes.

Graves/DeShields get the game ball, but credit to Carter and Middleton for their heady play at the end of the game. They didn't look rattled when tAMu started pressing, and kept their composure.

Could resting her bad leg also have been a factor in benching her for a while? She looks better now than she did fresh at the start of the season

would be great to go into the ncaa tournament on a 5 game winning streak and SEC tournament champs.

I think what happened is Holly got over get the ball into the post at all cost. I didn't see many forced in there today. Diamond is a driver and mid-range shooter she has to be free to operate on the court.

I think it was a foregone conclusion that she was going to be back next year. Two weeks ago, I was expecting an exodus of players after this season; after the UGA game and SEC tourney thus far, I think all eligible players are coming back.

Mercedes needs to be able to make up for Graves departure. She is really going to be missed.
