Our current guards can't score, can't shoot three's, can't penetrate, can't open up the middle or pass into the middle, and Middleton and Dunbar sit on the bench.

Tennessee is lucky they're only down by 10. But this team has no offensive abilities without the hurt post and the backup that Holly refuses to play for some reason.

coaches teach players, or are supposed to. The buck stops with coaches. Our offense has been clueless and PATHETIC for years. Warlick is like Summitt--stuck in the friggin' 70s, thinking she's going to win with defense and rebounding and an inept offense. Doesn't work. Teams are better offensively--and I'm not even talking about texas, which has not even been a good program for years. They are a decent/good team but hardly on connecticut's level.

Bruce Pearl said you always put people at a place where their best qualities are utilized. Holly doesn't know how to do that.

Did Moore even play in the first half? Those of you who think Middleton and Dunbar are going to help are being naive--they are being coached by people who don't know what they're doing.

But it's not like our defense and rebounding are any good either.

I didn't say Burdick was doing good tonight, but she at least has shown up. Seems like graves & Moore are AWOL

I wonder what instructions they were given OR what the players are thinking to make them all stand around on offense doing seemingly nothing so often? There are simple flex offenses they could run. The few picks we set involve our players coming TO the person with the ball, when most should be picks away from the ball. I play pickup games every week and at the very least I just run around to try to tire out my opponent which is better than just standing still. Yet, many times a game multiple if not ALL players are just standing.

The offense seems fundamentally bad and perhaps needlessly complicated.

I agree also Holly needs to move Carter to the point, This is why Massengale can not get her shot off without a pick and that`s a problem. Teams are now gonna look at tape and to the same thing Texas is doing make Massengale put it on the floor and take it to the basket.

They make great passes though. And, that's what we need right now. They can also hit threes. Especially Dunbar. She is like at 50% this year. That's why she is riding the bench.

Moore busts her tail and scores 20+ in each of the first four games, is our only center at the moment, and her reward is to sit on the bench? And why? So Graves can play center? How's that working?

I was watching her. She wasn't being real physical and must have gotten Holly upset. But, Burdick lost her player several times and missed several block outs and she's still in. At least Moore can score.
