Good points Mad.....Not sure if it is by design, but the girl almost never moves around...She is usually in a corner waiting for a kick out pass.....Basketball is a game of motion, and in Coach Kim's basketball, it is extreme motion of the ball and especially the player.

In any event, she is a nice young lady and I know you guys wish her well, but not when she plays the Lady Vols....

games in Nashville on that floor are difficult for a new coach to manage the subtle "distance issues" and player communication. Never easy and I for one will be more than satisfied leaving with a win. I personally have never felt comfortable as a spectator in watching LV/Vandy games (three times I believe).

I think Jill has a breakout game tomorrow if Zee isn’t available. Latham needs to step up as well, but this is a contest Jill could really assert herself. Vandy absolutely does not have the size to contend with her and I think her improved mobility and defense can give Pierre problems.

I didn’t realize, but appreciate the update from both you and Volfan18, I should have known TBA is 25,000 capacity. CLA is only 18k, My bad, still hoping for a huge crowd and a bigger TV viewership, the game deserves it. No negative waves intended, it’s all positive for me for such a huge game. Best to all.

TBA is like 21,600 now. It used to be 25,000 but UT took out a chunk of seats to build new luxury suites during a renovation of the arena about 15 years ago.

Also we haven’t been selling tickets for the whole arena in WBB for years. Most of the time we have considered a full lower bowl a “sell out” since Pat left. (In Pat’s time we would often sell out the whole arena for big games.)

Well, to be fair, I brought this up months ago with no responses.

I hope this is a game where the officials really let our players defend without calling all of those silly touch fouls. Against Texas A&M for example, their guards literally once they couldn’t handle the pressure from the full court press a few times fell down on the court from minimum contact just because they knew the refs would call a foul. That’s as bad as it gets.
A clean officiated game will end in another LVs W.
