Not sure I'd want to see both Darby and Puckett on the same rotation.
I find myself wishing we were seeing some of Puckett's minutes going to Ayodele. I even like Strickland's energy when she's in.
One of the first laws of fandom is that the player who is not playing much is always the player who would make all the difference.
However, coaches generall know who they should be playing, since their jobs on the line (as per "if only Kellie would play Pissott" from two seasons again)
Our best five is clearly Coop, Spencer, Spear, Spearman, and Whitehorn (though we are giving up some size).
The other subs have strategic roles.
Boyd as back-up PG (and Wynn's loss is really felt here though it is great for Boyd in the long wrong).
Jillan and Latham for Spearman, as both bring some size and athleticism; Puckett comes in to provide some size, an inside post presence (and the threat of the 3 though she has been struggling with her shot). Tess for 3 pt. shooting. That is a 10 person rotation which is pretty extensive.
The problem is that Ayodele and Strickland don't bring size and are lesser versions of what we get with the guards listed above.
They are not bad players but they aren't bringing any distinctive skills and talents to the mix. I think they could fill in adequately in the event of an injury but that is there role. There is no reason to expect that giving them more time over anyone in the core 10 would be a net gain for the team.
