At the 2:30 mark, Holly should have jumped all over the referee for that clean block called a foul on Carter. That's why we get shafted so much IMO because we never hold the referee accountable.

Jackson is a pleasant surprise. For a freshman, she looks a lot better than I thought she would when she signed with us.

Having Deshields this season serves as quite an eye opener meaning that this without her this assembly of McDonald's AA would not even be top 25. A revealing look at the current coaching abilities!

Cooper 0 for 2, Reynolds 0 for 4, Carter 1 for 3, Jackson 0 for 4, Graves 0 for 1, so 1 for 14 lucky to have any lead with that bad offense.

Were going to have to get some offensive rebounds and put backs to win this game. Va. Tech has far better shooters than we do luckily they are a turnover machine.

Good teams have offensive schemes and patterns,when a player gets the ball they know where their teammates are and where they are going, when our players get the ball they just stand there with a deer in the headlights look. No plan or offensive scheme, just stand or dribble and take a wild shot as the clock runs down. Need a coach that knows something about offense.

If we had played these games we have had recently on the road rather than at home we would have a bunch more losses right now.

I can remember Reynolds and others being better offensive players when they first got to Tennessee you wonder what happened to them. Reynold's can't even hit the rim. If I'm coaching Va. Tech I try to double team Diamond and make these other players shoot. If they had shot thirty percent we'd have a 10 point lead.

Another pattern of losing leads is repeating - the LV's twice had a nine point lead and lost it down to one. Now it's three.

Massey has VA Tech ranked #108. 25 first-half points is sad. On the bright side, both Duke and South Carolina look anemic on offense today as well.

Holly is too self-centered to admit that she cannot coach offense, therefore she will not hire an asst. who can. If i am correct, I think all her asst's were known for their ability to coach defense. Must have good defense, but if you cannot score you will never beat good offensively coached teams.
