It is so hard to watch, we pass up wide open shots only to try to force it inside, I just don't get it. Carter is afraid to shoot and Reynolds isn't but just doesn't know whats a good shot, Cooper is trying to do too much too soon, Diamond needs to shot 60 times a game the way we are going

She was never a player, and I doubt she'll ever be one.

If you play all of your life and still can't hit layups you will likely never be anything but a liability on offense.

It is almost like we just accept it and don't do any drills or technique work to help them with their shot at all.

I don't see a lot of talent at the guard spot. There's only so much that coaching can do. You can't polish a turd.

USC and Duke both shooting 36%. It is doubtful that either team will break 60. A team is going to have to put up 90+ points to beat either Notre Dame or UConn this year. I don't think either one is capable right now.

I just turned it on. The coaches, players and Bench look about as excited to be there as someone going to get a root canal.

6 of one and half dozen of the other. Either we recruited poorly or we didn't develop them... or perhaps both.

That's where Holly has really failed.

It's so easy for other teams to play defense against Tennessee because of how inept they are at the fundamental task of hitting an open jump shot.

Seriously it's the same mistakes and poor coaching for the last few years, lack of fundamentals, and just a bunch of athletes, not basketball players. It is, and has been time to ditch Holly and go in a different direction.

That's what happens when you are obsessed with defense and recruit athletes that you hope can play basketball instead of recruiting players.

After three quarters, the Vols have only 8 assists (zero for Diamond). I guess there's no point in her passing the ball to anyone else.
