You have to hold them accountable. Use the bench. Why would you take good shots if you can stay on the floor while continuing to chuck up poor shots?

but given how much hair she's got piled atop her head, I have to think it could be a distraction given that you can't exactly keep it a beehive like this firmly in place--it's going to move around. I never thought I'd be commenting on a player's hair--but I'm not sure I've seen such a tower of hair.

in any case, she had a poor first quarter--missed a bunch of shots, as did most of our players. Poor shooting so far. We will see zone all year.

Russell looks good offensively--she is moving well and shooting quickly and decisively. She's /not/ a good defensive player.

If MR wasn't 6'6" I actually think Wichita St. would be winning this game. Coach Jumper you gonna be giving updates from the game? I wanna know what you think this game says so far.

Call me crazy but I really believe they look more like a team tonight than any time before. Their ball movement is better and are looking for good shots without Mr they struggled a bit. Defence needs to tighten up. Well win this no problem

I like Westbrook’s court vision and passing, but does she have an offensive game? If Nared is off offensively, set a few screens for Davis and Dunbar.

10 turnovers on some really bad passing. One or two could've been caught, but overall a lot of bad decisions. Were a huge favorite over this team hopefully we wake up and get something going in the second half.

Westbrook is looking like Harris from SC. She just doesn't look to score, even as a 2nd option. They can get away with that this year to an extent, but not next season when Russell and Nared are gone.

Tennessee needs scorers on the floor.
