Game Thread Lady Vols vs Wichita State

Everything else takes a back seat to the fact that we're shooting 31%, and a lot of those misses were layups.

Fast and athletic guards have been a nemesis for the LV's the past few years. It looks like we may have some answers this year.

Am I the only one who has noticed; Nared never shoots as well with her hair up. Every since her freshman year, bad offensive nights.

They don't use the backboard very much on those layup attempts. They just throw it up and hope it bounces in. At least they are not bricks as in years past. Mercedes could do so much better if she used the board.

A 12 point win is not so bad as poorly as they played tonight. Got to work on those free throws. Had we hit a decent percentage, we would have won by 20+

We have to hope that Nared doesn't have very many games like she played tonight. Excellent defensive effort in the second half. Wichita State hit their open shots but they didn't get that many in the second half of the game.
