I really like the direction right now with Kim Caldwell. Recruiting is up and we have momentum in the program. I thought she might be a good hire when we brought her in.

I hate that Kellie Harper flopped. I thought we would do better with her. However, onto good times again.

Danny White has really turned our sports programs around.

One note, I do think Lady Vols Basketball is big enough that it should be a separate forum, like Men's Basketball, and not be lumped in a general Lady Vols forum.

She was hurt in practice last year, leading to her missing the rest of the year. It has impacted her ability to get on the court this year.

Her only path to an additional year would be to sit out the rest of this season and winning an injury redshirt appeal.

I thought last yr, her fourth in college, was a redshirt yr. So this yr would be her Sr yr (which she's listed as) and she should still have a covid yr? When she came I believe it was stated she had 2 yrs to play. If last yr doesn't count she has this one and one more.

She played in 10 games last year. To earn a medical redshirt, you can’t play in more than 30% of the team’s regular season games. Tennessee only played 28 regular season games, so she would need to win an appeal to get last year back. I don’t know what the chances are of that, it’s not her fault that Tennessee played two fewer games than allowed, but that’s why it’s a percentage, not a hard number. we’ll see if that comes into play or if she even applies for the extra year.

Excited to go to the game tomorrow…. Does anyone have a parking pass they may not be using they would be willing to part with? I have a bum Achilles and am worried about having to walk a far distance….

I suggest you park at the Agriculture campus and ride the free shuttle bus to and from the game. That should solve your problem.

On the official website, she's listed as a redshirt senior, and I'm not aware of her redshirting any previous seasons. Destinee Wells - Women's Basketball - University of Tennessee Athletics

This article before senior night last season said that Tennessee would be looking at getting her a redshirt: Who has eligibility, who doesn't ahead of Lady Vols basketball Senior Night

This article also says that she was planning to redshirt: Lady Vols basketball prepares for Texas A&M on Senior Night

I would guess if they're listing her as a redshirt senior on the UT website, then she got the redshirt. Can't really find any actual confirmation, though.

We could force this team into 40 turnovers. They are not a very good passing team. I don't know how exactly it will go down she may let Edie and Ace play a lot. If we go with the regulars the entire game I look for us to get at least 120 points today.
