Game Thread: Tennessee (15-8, 8-3 SEC) versus No. 1 South Carolina (23-0, 10-0) @ Food City Center, 2/15, 7:00 PM (EST), ESPN

Powell has been completely out of control. I loved her energy and take-no-prisoners attitude in the first quarter--but she's taken
17 shots and made 4. Not a composed performance, to say the least. And she has a. meager 1 assist. Just not good.

And her running mate, Spear, has been bad offensively--0-9 in the game. Our starting
guards are 4 for 26. That is absolutely terrible. It's amazing we're still close.

Hard to believe we haven't beaten a top-ranked team in the last 18 years... haven't been to a final four in 15 years.

DAMN my NEGAVOL coming out.
Apparently it's parity keeping us from winning like we used to all while SC in short time is breaking TN SEC records at a quick pace.

You win dumbest post of the night award 🥇

He's not wrong though. This team fought tonight. They will be mentally and physically exhausted with a game that could knock us out of the NCAA tournament on the road. Whoever set this week's schedule up needs fired.

We’re not physical enough inside and the refs let them push and shove. We stand on offense way to much and Powell has to learn to play smarter sometimes she dribbles to wreckless. We are a finesse team, they should have sent Hollingshead in there early pushing and grabbing her when refs weren’t looking. We are not mean enough inside.

No he’s totally wrong, do we rest our starters instead?

This game has shown the committee a lot. We will be on the bubble regardless unless we lose out so I just don’t see the point
