Powell is a 5th year senior that’s always played this way, so guess all of her coaches are to blame, that’s just who she is.We got pushed around inside, we aren’t nowhere near a top 10 team. We gave effort tonight but we are lacking at so many levels. Our point guard needs coaching and discipline in her game. Our team doesn’t play with a high basketball IQ and that is a reflection of the coach.
Powell and Jackson were the only ones keeping us in this game f or 3 quarters!
At some point cars run out of gas
That attitude they have is a WINNING attitude. It's something the Lady Vols need to acquire.Dumbest post of the night.. they competing with South Carolina.
It’s not like Tennessee played a flawless game.
some of the players on SC team got serious attitude issues.
That ain’t going to fly come tournament time. That team will lose game(s) so they better hope it comes before March Madness.
Got away with fouling for the entire 2nd half and Tennessee wasn’t even allowed to contest shots.
Disappointing. SC was there to be had. They were only 2 of 9 from 3 and awful 8 of 16 on free throws. But, the LV's scored only 7 points in the fourth quarter, and that lis not going to do it against an excellent team.
While it's a team loss, some players contributed more to the loss than others.
What happened to Spear ?
0 of 8 in fg's. Zero points.
Powell played hard but was out of control on way too many possessions. 4 of 17 in fg's including 0 of 5 from 3.
Puckett had an excellent game. Kudos to her. Jackson kept the team in the game until SC decided double team her and there was no alternative.
What could have been.
If Spear had put up half that 30 piece a poster was bragging was going to happen.Props to Staley. She nailed it in the interview to start the 4th. Said they would need to start throwing doubles on Rickea. She knew our other players couldn’t beat them.
I personally thought she played the best game for Tennessee. Her points were quiet, but she was very smart in how she got them. Rickea had to work way harder for every point she put up on the scoreboardSara Puckett was probably my unsung player of the game. She played very hard and was quite disruptive on defense.
