We don't know this. That is what the announcers said, but looking at her she seemed to be crying. The camera only showed her for a second but I believe the announcers were going off that glimpse they saw on their monitor too.

Sara needed to calm down..too many quick shots down the stretch. Couple of shots her feet weren't even set..

She wasn't the only one. It is particularly bad in the paint after an offensive rebound where they just fling the ball at the hoop instead of squaring their shoulders, or setting their feet.

Rickea left the game because she picked up her third foul which I thought was a Stanford offensive foul on Jones. She was upset because she got hit in the chest by Jones and the referee called the foul on her..

Some ill advised shot for sure, but we've really cut down on them quite a bit. Jordan was not shooting well today 8 for 24 she needed about three more makes and she had the shots. I know she did more than her share in this game, but we ended up shooting 36 percent to their 43. We made as many field goals as they did, but their 30 trips to the line was something we couldn't match.

Dude it was the #2 team in the country and we got hosed by the officials.

We actually played great offensively for 3 quarters. Then we couldn’t get a call to save our lives.

If buts were candy and nuts ..... Its easy to say refs didn't make the calls. How many times did we take bad shots on offence? How many layups or shots within 3-ft of the rim did we miss? At some point players have to overcome and bust through to win a game.

0-4 vs ranked teams. Supposedly, our talent level is close or equivalent to these teams. If the team is not winning then schemes, coaching and everything else needs to be evaluated. If players are not hitting shots, it still falls on the coach. If players are continually making the same dumb mistakes after 13 games, it falls on the coach. This is not HS where you just put your athletes out on the court and hope for the best.

And damn, WTH you need to make up BS out of whole cloth when we were all watching and know different. More "alternative facts". You really think those managers were "chewing out" RJ? Be a more credible pot stirrer please.

Jackson not playing is not the reason we lost the game. We were leading going into the fourth quarter and she was in there most of the fourth quarter. When she didn't play other players had been making shots to get us that lead. So that is not a legitimate gripe.

I don’t think you watch much of our games lately then because we are getting better on almost every category of our game. We didn’t lose today because of coaching. She can’t go out there and hit open shots. We played a rlly good game on both ends of the floor just came up short to a better stanford team. It’s simple. (plus the free throws and foul difference didn’t help)

I have been registered for a while now but decided to post today after watching the Lady Vols vs Stanford. I have been a life long lady vols fan but this team need a coach who can install an offense and coach defense. Also, her judgement in keeping certain players on the floor is very poor. Powell was constantly getting beaten back door by the much bigger guard Jones yet she kept her in. When she did take her out, she brings in Jordan Walker smh. Kaiya Wynn is a much better defender than both Walker and Powell. Coach Harper kills the momentum of her team with her constant substitution patterns. She didn’t kill Stanford momentum by calling a timeout early in their run in the 4th quarter.. Rickea was the reason you got the 8 point lead in the second quarter and you took her out the game.. I love Kelly Harper as a player for Pat Summit Lady Vols but not as the coach of this team. This team desperately need an offensive system, it’s just individual ball. Too many forced shots and terrible team defense. How can you not coach your team to defend back door passes which is a staple of Stanford’s triangle offense? I’m not bashing coach Harper in any way, the evidence is clear in the performances of this team against ranked opponents. Without an offensive system and great team defense, this team will not make the sweet 16 this year. She needs to let Rickea play so that she can get into a rhythm. I will not be surprise if many of the players on this team decide to leave. I’m pulling for the lady Vols but coach Harper need to get it together. Pat Summit went to the Chicago Bulls to see Tex Winter and Phil Jackson in the 1990’s to learn the triple post offense and taught it to her lady Vols teams. This Lady Vols team doesn’t have an offensive system and it has been killing this team the past 3 years..
