Really excited about this team! Definitely showed growth from the FL State. I thought the lead would evaporate completely. This team is growing!

Two games in a row I thought we could have forced a lot more turnovers that’s the only drawback today. We did win pts off to 26-13 but should have been a lot more.

Both games I thought a lot of walks went uncalled. Our opponents are nervous and shuffle their feet after handling the ball and on the catch. The officials letting it slide something crazy. Richmond did it 5-6 times today with no call. Our pressure makes teams really uncomfortable and that is a really good sign.

With Texas scoring just 65 against Richmond, didn't think UT would score 92. Impressive win and no doubt UT should be undefeated going into SEC play. Tulsa got beat by Kim's old team Marshall and were whooped by Georgia.

some of that is who they are on the floor with. Sara got benched but played a lot in the third while coop went on her big spree.

I don’t like +/- for a metric much. Our previous staff relied on it heavily but you really have to use your own two eyes and watch the game. Numbers mean very little.

And for anyone that doesn't know, this refers to points for/points against while each player is on the court. The 18 minutes Tess was on the court, the Lady Vols outscored the Spiders by a margin of 21.

Very impressive coaching came back from the half and Coach Kim had the team putting the ball in Cooper's hands with the message to Richmond try and stop her. Plus she got through on ramping up the defense cause it looked good in the third quarter. For the entire half they score 28 points.

We're hard to beat when we get that many oRBs! 9-31 from 3 is A-OK if a decent number of the 22 misses become de-facto interior passes for put-back points. One of only two teams in the country with more than 20 oRBs per game!

That third quarter was a run them out of the gym butt kicking. I wish I could've heard what Kim said at halftime, cause I saw effort at a level I would like to see for forty minutes. Their were on fire both on offense and defense. I worry that none of the Assistants will be able to pump them up like Kim can. Hope she is not out very long, but still as long as she needs.

Eric Frede quoted her as saying she won’t be missing much if any time during the Memphis game “if she can help it.” Also said her official due date is January 20th.

Yes, that was so annoying! With around 4 minutes left, the networks stopped the radio broadcast abruptly and never returned. Not a good time to do that when it's not a regularly televised game.

That’s a big win. Richmond is a very good mid-major. Loved Coop taking over and Coach Kim putting her in a position to do so. They had no answer. We flat out wore them down. Much improved from Wednesday. Onto Tulsa!
