Game Thread: UT Martin v Lady Vols, Thurs Nov 7th; Home-FCC; 6:30PM; SEC+ network...UT wins 90-50

OK Legs little tired shows on Jumpers but still struggling shooting and we have 42 because of the all out hustle and Defense. Go Lady Vols. In CHRIST Alone
If legs are tired the third outing of the season bc of 2 games in 3 days at home, we're in trouble.

Last yr in Feb. we had 4 games in nine days including away games, a couple against national powers. Gonna get alot harder as we move along.

in contrary, conditioning usually gets better as the season progresses so I would think with a new system that requires a lot more energy, you would see that early in the season.

UTM is a scrappy bunch .The old adage that " pressing teams do not like being pressed " proved true for a good portion of the 1st half. The LV press has not been that effective except it is tiring out the opposition.....and that is one of the reasons to use it if opposing teams do not have the depth to counteract it.

She's quickly becoming indeSPENCable. The LVs are a much better team w her on the floor.

They are playing less than two minute shifts tonight. And it’s the first half, the first quarter in terms of the first wild air ball. Tired legs is a reach.

I wonder what makes you more tired. 1.5 minute shifts, or 3 minute shifts, or 5 minute shifts. Whats easier on the body?

This team may lack skill at spots but is so much more athletic. Likely to be more athletic still next year after losing Darby, Puckett and Spear, their three that play away from the lane and lack quickness. No way they aren’t replaced by quicker players.
Kaiya will be one, that’s a great start.

do you think it’s painful to watch rn …
Yes, but I've been told, not really unreasonably, to love or leave it. Apparently most people think it's actually more fun to watch.

Yes, absolute pretzel logic to say the legs will be less tired late in the season. That's not why we're missing 3s.

We just don't, at this point, have any really consistent 3 pt shooters. They run cold and hot. Usually they're not all cold at the same time. I'm sure someone will heat up the second half.
