Spencer has a Jordan Walker mentality that I really love. So far, she's looking like a very key pick up for this team.

Yes, but I did not know that was an infraction. You can save a ball going out of bounds as hard at an opponent as possible. Not sure how this was different.

Yes sadly we're in the rolling the floor stage of the game. Refs need extra sturdy whistles to ref our games.

Yes, but I did not know that was an infraction. You can save a ball going out of bounds as hard at an opponent as possible. Not sure how this was different.

The throw being at the head and not at the leg is probably seen differently. Just comes down to determining intent? If you throw the ball at the head unintentionally, they probably won't give you an infraction for it, but it looked fairly intentional there.

She wasn't outside the tackle box, and no eligible receiver was between her and Samara's face.

Idk I’ve seen her do that before. She’s either dead on or WAYYYY off. It’s a little frustrating because it doesn’t even give her teammates a chance to rebound.

Speed was about equal in the first quarter. Now it looks like UTM is running under water when Spencer pushes the ball up the court. Their legs are gonna be so dead the next couple days lol.

Just when you think this team is hitting a lull they rattle off 5-7 points in about as many seconds lol. The forced turnovers to quick layups are so key for this system. 5 points in about 5 seconds of game time with the Boyd 3 and Ayodele steal score. Gotta love it!

Spear and Darby better make shots at a high level or risk falling down the minute list as the season progresses. They just don’t give you anything defensively which seems to matter to Kim.

Sounds like a job for the student section, calling out the seconds for refs who are chronologically impaired.

Spear has really picked up her defense. Darby will always be limited there. Spear will always get minutes on this team.

In the future, watch for CKC to lobby the NCAA for "5-second timeouts."
