Tennessee has never controlled games against any opponent(s) over the course of the season during recent years the way they have in the Coach Caldwell era week 1!
The game announcers tonight are outstanding.
They are calling out both the positives and the areas where progress needs to come.
But you can tell these SEC game announcers just aren’t use to seeing a team create their identity this soon under a new head coach.

This team may lack skill at spots but is so much more athletic. Likely to be more athletic still next year after losing Darby, Puckett and Spear, their three that play away from the lane and lack quickness. No way they aren’t replaced by quicker players.

IMO the key is bringing in skill along with the athleticism. Teams do not live by athleticism alone. We've been down that road before.

I agree. In recruiting, being great at both makes you a top ten type talent. Hard to find lower than the top twenty.

Yeah they are gassed now, it’s gonna get ugly. This Lady Vol group is ready for it though. I fear we will see that a lot. The relentless pressure and forced turnovers get in a teams head.
