Spear and Darby better make shots at a high level or risk falling down the minute list as the season progresses. They just don’t give you anything defensively which seems to matter to Kim.

Spear has really picked up her defense. Darby will always be limited there. Spear will always get minutes on this team.

Agree. I still think Spear is the most likely to become a consistent 3 pt shooter. She will play.

Tess getting a run tonight but I think her role will be pretty much what it's always been - the occassional, situational hot shooting game.

Puckett just so not locked it. Hit her in the hands. Last time I’m saying her name tonight. I believe in her and her ability. She’s gotta get it together though.

CKC obviously believes in her too. But not sure she's earning all these mins right now. Chances are she's actually too locked in. We've seen that before.

I think so, this was the first time we’ve looked a little gassed. Even though they are in shape, game shape is different.

2-0 averaging 95.5 a game. Not bad considering percentages. Love the all out Hustle and Defense. Now there are many things to clean up and I'm sure they will get better and better connected. In CHRIST Alone

Not loving all the threes in the fourth here. Would like to see us get to the rim a little.

They basically play one -on-one basketball in their half court offense ......need to add some screens and plays in their half court offense.

Those easy layups are the bread and butter of this system and we get plenty of them. This team finishes at the rim pretty well too. Missed a couple pups at the end when our legs were tired but mostly really efficient finishing layups early in the season here.

54-28 rebounding margin. Excellent job on the boards! The offensive rebounding was great. Ugly game overall in my opinion, but Coach Kim said the first month or two would be “horrendous” and I can see why she says that. Our one on one defense must get so much better, and I’m sure it will. Lastly, huge game from Ruby with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Shoutout to her, and Sam Spencer, especially, who was all over the floor tonight. 2-0 and let’s bring on MTSU Tuesday night.
