Really think it was a mistake putting Ellen in the game being behind by 3 runs. If TN doesn't score 3 runs Ellen can't help. If TN can get a rally going and win the game, Ellen will be critical in game 3.

Besides, OK has seen a lot of Ellen's pitches. They were starting to zero in on her in the late innings yesterday. Why give them more practice against her in a game that is not a must win for OK. Her chance of success today is minimal given the above issues plus the fatigue factor. OK did the right thing resting their ace.

Ellen only gave up 1 run and there was no need to worry about game 3,they had to win tonight and didn't

Not that it mattered, but that was far from a strike. She was nearly hit by the pitch.Congrats to both teams, but ESPN as usual sugar coating crap. We know Oklahoma has been devestated with tornadoes. No need to remind us 84747393947473739 times.

So it was a mistake last night leaving Ellen in and now it was a mistake putting her in tonight? Makes a lot sense there.

They called it a strike because the ump said she moved into the pitch on purpose to try to get on base.

it would have been nice to see what would have happened if Erin Gabriel hadn't got injured this year,they might have went with a relief pitcher for Ellen last night

The UT Lady Vols Softball Team is the 2nd best team in the country & should not hang their heads in disappointment. I'm very proud of this team & honored that they play for Tennessee.

Ellen Renfroe is going to be the best pitcher in the country next year. Both OU pitchers graduate, as does Luna from Texas.

Yeah, for all the people that lost everything they had, I'm sure OU winning made everything alright again. I hate when they say, their not only playing for themselves, but for the state

Ellen can stand proud this season. She pitched sensationally
in the series. Hitting let us down but we were facing two if the top pitchers in the country.

Why couldn't Monica have paid a visit to Knoxville and prepped our hitters for some left-handed heat?
