Besides having a 2 next to our name, I'm REALLY confused why people want to face Vandy in our 2nd game instead of Florida. Am I missing something? We beat Florida 9/10 times because of matchups. Vandy is a better road team than Florida and way more balanced. It's going to be hard beating Vandy in New Orleans.

Florida probably has Bama first. Not sure if they win that game. I think Bama would give UK a better game.

I still don't get the hatred for Florida basketball. I'd so much rather see Vandy and Kentucky lose than the Gators. I would rather lose every game except the Kentucky games every year.

Well, for one thing Florida historically is a better tourney team than Vandy. It's about time for Vandy to start its annual fold job.

Because the Gators call themselves "Mighty" and (particularly Boynton) they have that "we're entitled because we're Florida" look on their faces.

Even so, UK has that look even worse than Florida, every year. Can't argue it this year too much, cause damn that team is ridiculous, but Kentucky is higher on my hate list than Bama and Florida football.

Nothing says entitlement like the name Vanderbilt across the front of a jersey.

I would too. They don't have enough fans that care about hoops. Candy fans have the arrogance of Fla fans with zero titles. Ol' Baldy has won nothing since his arrival 13 years ago.

i have been asking for a UNC rematch for a long time, and many said i was dumb, that UK already beat them.

i think they are more than capable of beating UK, and imo on a good night could do it easily.

I agree, but history shows that beating a team 3 times is tough. I recall USC taking us out a couple years back after sweeping them in reg season.
