And better than Uni.

Totally disagree.

Davis is just as good defensively as Durant was offensively and Davis better offensively than Durant was defensively.

I love Durant, but you got to take Davis.

I'll take Durant too, especially in the NBA game. Davis can't create his own offense like Durant can, and as good as Davis' defense is, the NBA emphasizes offense. Davis is still young and developing more of a perimeter game with his paper-thin frame would serve him well.

Talking college ball.

Davis is definitely a beneficiary of playing with other great players. 90% of his offense is contingent on players getting him the ball. As of now, he can't consistently create his own shot because he is isn't a serious threat offensively outside the paint. UK runs a perfect system for him and they have unselfish players willing and able to utilize him with that lob pass.

He can't really create his own shot, but he is on pace to block about 180 shots in one season (if they go deep in the tourney). That's an impressive stat.

No doubt about it, and like I said, he is more effective in the college game overall because of his defense, which makes the comparison and argument a little tougher.

i have been asking for a UNC rematch for a long time, and many said i was dumb, that UK already beat them.

i think they are more than capable of beating UK, and imo on a good night could do it easily.

Eh, you may want to take out the "easy" at the end

nope.

i honestly think if UNC played like they did for awhile last night, they could beat UK by 15.

those boys arent used to getting down big, i think they would quit if they got down 15 or so, and things would just go down hill.

the street ball would come out and would just hurt them imo.

I have watched every UK game this year and they have faced some tough situations, ie MSU away. Despite what many want to think, they are pretty disciplined and do not play "street ball". Also, they may be one of the most solid defensive teams in the nation as that extends past Davis.

======================

Because the Gators call themselves "Mighty" and (particularly Boynton) they have that "we're entitled because we're Florida" look on their faces.
Really? You're judging a person's character on their facial expressions? Lol.

We'll be fine. The only game that worried me was the loss to Georgia. No shame in losing at Vanderbilt and to Kentucky. If Young asserts himself like he did today, we'll beat most teams in the country. Just not Kentucky. I don't think anybody can beat them at this point.

Huh?

Stick to football.

I'll amend it. In comparison to Durant, Davis doesn't create his own shot with as much prowess. That's not his role either though, so it's not really a fair comparison. I would take Davis in all honesty though, because he is such an effective defender. He can completely take over games with his ability on the defensive side of the court. I'll add that considering his size, his ability to shoot the mid-range to long jumpers is really impressive.

the most they got down was what 10 at miss st, and that was in the first 5 minutes.

they havent gotten down 15-20 to anyone, especially away from home.

they have done a great job of not playing streetball, but thats what im saying. if they were to get down big like that say in the 2nd half, i think youd see them panic.

you're right, i forgot it was that much.

they came right out the 2nd half and within a minute you knew miss st was in trouble.

thats what im saying, is that if they are down 15-20 after a few minutes in the 2nd half i can see them freaking out.

JMO though.
