Camby was pretty good for a while. I think Davis is better than Camby on offense, though.

thats a pretty good comparison, although camby had an inch or 2 and 15-20 pounds on him.

i think those are the 2 biggest factors for davis...
1. can he add some weight and muscle
2. can he improve his offense, and have a consistent 15-18 foot jumper

as i said, im very curious starting next year how these teams play with no senior leaders.

1st year they had stevenson and patterson
2nd year they had liggins, harrelson and miller
3rd year they have miller

i think the seniors dont receive enough credit for how well these UK teams have played.

Yes, next year will very interesting in Lexington. But I believe this year may be one of the better TEAMS essembled for quite sometime.

Edit, it, not UT

nope.

i honestly think if UNC played like they did for awhile last night, they could beat UK by 15.

those boys arent used to getting down big, i think they would quit if they got down 15 or so, and things would just go down hill.

the street ball would come out and would
just hurt them imo.
I know UT wasnt down by 15 to us, but it was close, and they came back and won. On the road no less.

Really? You're judging a person's character on their facial expressions? Lol.

We'll be fine. The only game that worried me was the loss to Georgia. No shame in losing at Vanderbilt and to Kentucky. If Young asserts himself like he did today, we'll beat most teams in the country. Just not Kentucky. I don't think anybody can beat them at this point.

Remember that post you had about I would rather have a better conference record, than be beaten by the Vols, and that's what we can brag about? Well now we have both. A sweep, and higher seed. :eek:lol:

The only game in which we played really badly was the loss to Georgia. We played decently against Vandy and Kentucky. We didn't defend well enough to beat Vandy, however. And, we just didn't hit enough open shots against Kentucky. Again, if Young plays like he did today, we'll beat most teams in the country. Just not Kentucky.

Out of curiosity, why did you lose twice to the Vols? Early start times?

Usually never have anything to say bad about your posts, but no way in he'll the gators can make an elite 8 appearance. They are soft, and inconsistent.

that seems to be their issue right now.

the post plays good, and the guards dont show.

the guards play well, and the post plays soft.

thats why i say, i could see them being a 1st round upset, or making an elite 8 or so.

if they draw soft opponents who also want to play a finese game its possible, thats all.

id be surprised if they win 2 games though.

I think it's a very safe bet to say, if UNC plays a full game of defense, they would be the best team in the country, but they just don't care. If they played defense with as much effort as UK does, they would've won in Rupp, or would be the #1 seed right now. When they play to their athletic ability AND talent, they are the best team in the country at scoring the ball.

I still think KY will beat them though, because Cal has them playing defense since the beginning, and Roy has yet to get UNC to play defense against anyone not named Duke really.

Durant didn't change the game on D like Davis does (Durant is a more potent offensive weapon)

Durant can stretch the floor and is incredibly long and athletic. Hes a go to guy down the stretch. I would take durant over Davis any and everyday of the week.
