I saw someone on Twitter say Franklin was offered the Wisconsin, Arkansas, and... Tennessee jobs last year?

I find the first two a little hard to believe, but I never heard about UT offering him outside of baseless speculation.

He was not offered the Tennessee job.

To answer your and question...That's why they don't show up. You proved my point. No one in Nashville, let alone TN really cares about Vandy so its never going to be a sold out crowd unless it's filled with half the other teams fans. The ones who might care, their alumni, don't live anywhere near here. If I live in the Northeast now, I'm not returning to Nashville every weekend to watch a football game. Their student population is around 6000, that's only 1500 alums every year. Hard to sell out when you're drawing from a small alumni base and an even smaller sidewalk alumni, casual fanbase.
