A job is a choice! No one is being forced to eat at certain restaurants, take certain jobs, drive at certain times, befriend certain people with "unhealthy" habits, etc.your arguments have consisted of crap like noone's being FORCED and technically a job is a choice and the like. I simply saying that you're welcome to continue that, but it ain't helping your argument.
that was a leap.
It should not be something the government aids in. Basically, they can ask, but the prospective employee should be able to refrain from answering (5th Amendment kind of deal.)
Not sure what FUBAR means but please tell how gay people marrying would benefit America. It hasn't been legal for over 200 years and I think we have done ok for ourselves. The only benefit is for the people in the relationship and I'm not sure why someone choosing to be gay should get tax breaks and benefits. You can call my views outdated but I will use the Bible as my compass on all these matters.
Not being allowed to do something and being discriminated against are two very different things. Please show me where the Bible condones homosexuality. The Bible calls it a perversion. In our country homosexuals have a right to be gay, but why should we change laws and or traditions because they choose this lifestyle? Again I will ask how does this benefit our society? Just because some people choose to smoke weed doesn't mean we should change our laws to accomidate them. I don't hear people saying we are discriminating against people who choose to smoke weed or use drugs in the privacy of their own home.
Quit assigning bigotry to anybody that disagrees with you. There's a big difference between believing something is wrong and actually acting on it in a way that persecutes.
