Gay Marriage

It is a guidline on do's and donts not a road map.

Matthew Chapter 7, Verse 14 (King James Version)
But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Life is a road my friend. Its full of Wrong Ways and Do Not Enter's. You have to stay on the narrow road as well.

Are you going to try and sell us some DVDs and books at the end of this sermon?

I have found that so called "christians" in the world are the least tolerant and least forgiving folks you will ever meet. Religion is supposed to set rules to follow but also to live and help your fellow man. Those who chose to only quote scriptures as answers to questions or positions on issues have no answers or positions can be thought up by themselves. Pretty close minded and sad.

I don't force anything down anyones throat hat. That's the one thing about Christianity that sets us apart from other religions. Believe as you will and I will believe as I will. That's what God is all about right there, freedom of choice to accept Jesus or not to accept him.

I was sitting here thinking the same thing.

So it would be wrong to use a book on an "open-book" test right???

I support your belief just dont become a robot of it, enjoy it and believe, but think, its ok to question

Yeah, the Crusades didn't force religion upon anyone. Christianity is known for its tolerance. For example, look at the humanitarian work the church did by bringing about the Salem Witch Trials. Imagine how the republic would have fallen if those brave Christians hadn't killed all those evil women.

Listen I am Christian and I understand what you mean because it is a problem and there are plenty of closed minded people out there. Religion is very tough subject for most. A true christian will respect your decision or beliefs no matter what...

Well that should sum it up then. According to hohenfelsvol, "christians" are the least tolerant and least forgiving people you will ever meet. Sorry you have had these experiences in your life, I seem to have had the complete oposite.

Well said...

I tend to agree with Libetarians. The govt doesnt need to be involved. Let states decides the issue through public referendum like its being done.

The Muslims also were part of those crusades and if I am not mistaken they shed as much blood as we did. As far as the Witch Trials, that was a sad day for Christians and the world alike. I don't condone the slaughter of hundreds and thousands of people in either instance, but should I be judged based on my religious preference on what they did LONG AGO??? Ok enough about this subject....Gay marriage is wrong.

Not what I wrote at all. But hey, am close minded enough not to give a crap about your opinion on this particular post.
