GB vs Pittsburgh in Super Bowl

The run defense didn't look that great especially when Hanie was in...pretty sure the Steelers average less than 70 ypg allowed

They are also a top 5 all time rush defense. That's a Red Herring to the discussion anyhow.

True, but their #2 corner has one of the worst percentages of targets to completions for his man in the NFL. I feel like we won't be running too much.

Bryant McFadden
77 completions on 166 targets this season (66% completion)

The sour attitudes i've seen from Titans fans both on here and on Facebook make me glad I never really latched onto that organization too tight.

Im surprised at the bitterness/aggressive inferiority complex.

It probably started with the team they liked before the Titans got to Tennessee. I'm guessing it's doubtful that they just lucked into their favorite Oilers team relocating to Nashville.

I said the same thing earlier. They targeted McFadden last year. They should throw all day.

I'm positive we've had this discussion before. If you're looking for people who switched teams, I'm not your guy.

Yeah I was talking about someone else

If you must know, the Packers were actually my favorite team as I was growing up. I never much cared for the Cowboys who were the dominant force at the time, and I always liked the way Favre played. When the Oilers moved to Nashville I the late 90's, I was actually living in Nashville, and the opportunity to actually go to NFL games and root for a home team was naturally pretty cool. That's why I started liking the Titans. I still held onto the Pack as my favorite NFC team until as recently as 2 years ago. However, events which have been discussed at length earlier in this thread have completely turned me against the Packers forever. The behavior of their fanbase has ruined any pleasure I could take from seeing them win, and there won't ever be another time when I'll root for them. To be honest I'm pretty embarrassed to have ever called myself a Packers fan.

I think the issue is that when we Packer fans didn't have anyone else to fall back on (Titans), and were completely shat on by Brett, we were offered a chance to voice our displeasure. We followed it intently, and it was upsetting to see (for some of us) our childhood idol playing for the team (for some of us) that we hated more than anyone. You are being illogical. Favre played for the Vikings, therefore he deserved to be booed uncontrollably. If there was a similar situation for the Titans, you'd understand it.

Well, the Titans have yet to ever have a player even close to Favre's historical importance, and with the way they choose to never spend money, they might not ever get one. Still, once McNair and Eddie George moved on, I wouldn't have ever booed them when the returned to Nashville. It's not a team or fans place to tell a guy when to quit playing football. If their services aren't needed on their longtime team, I don't see what's wrong with them seeking work elsewhere if others teams are interested and they still want to play.

You really dont get all the scheming that went on for that dirtbag to get to Minnesota do you?

If he came back as a Jet, fine, but to con the Jets into releasing him under the guise of retirement so he could sign with Minnesota was a low class move, done simply to spite TT and the club.

That just doesn't matter to him. While he was a Packer, he was literally a God. Once he left, his humanity shined through.

This. He was a total jerk about it. I have no problem with packers fans booing him. I hope they continue to disown him.

Back to the game at hand. My favorite team is not in it, and may not be for awhile, so I gotta go with who I like the least. I'm a Raider fan, then a fan of whoever is playing these teams - the Pats, the Steelers, the Donks, the Chargers, the 9ers and the Cowboys.

So the game doesn't really matter a great deal to me, but if I had to choose either the Steelers or the Packers, I'd go with the Packers.

Took me a little longer than expected to figure out that "Donks" meant the Broncos.

And Go Pack Go!

In fairness, your team has plenty of its own problems.

Where did I say there weren't issues with the Steelers?

Just pointing that beating a team by 7 with a 3rd string nobody at QB for more than a quarter isn't "domination" as claimed by another poster.
