while there is no doubt geno is an a** and that Pat built womens basketball, his titles are more impressive as the level of competition in womens basketball (thanks in no small part to Pat) has been far higher then when Pat won hers. That will be taken as a knock by me on Pat by some on here but it is accurate
I don't take it as a knock, but I completely disagree with you. If Pat had won all hers in the 80's or 90's and Geno won his the past 10 years or so, I could find a bit of common ground. Also, the Lady Vols play in a league that might just be 500 times harder than the league UCONN plays in. They've had no competition until the past few years while the LV's play through a physical and grueling SEC schedule.

Geno has been kicking a$$ and taking names while we play like Brownies. It's tough for we longtime UT followers. The gap between us and them was evident in the way each team played Louisville. Sobering.
Its funny how you're looking past the fact that UCONN probably knew that team pretty well since they played in the same conference. (Wasn't that their 3rd time playing them this year) Oh and also that Louisville team was probably tired as hell from beating....Baylor, Tennessee, and then coming from behind to beat Cal. Then again, common sense isn't used that often on this board.

No. Sadly, that's the one topic that does not put Pat in a good light. Your character comes into question if you make allegations and not say what occurred. Answering the question by saying, "Geno knows" just doesn't cut it. The reason I don't like it is that outside of Knoxville people are looking at the situation as sour grapes on Pat's part. Not good.Question, did Pat's book shed any light on what happened between her and Geno?
